The Youth Employment Scheme (YES) offers Victorians aged 15 to 29 a career kick-start with traineeships in the Victorian Government.
The Department of Justice and Community Safety participates in the scheme along with other Victorian Government departments, and is committed to providing opportunities for young Victorians to increase their skills and experience.
Through a mixture of structured training and on-the-job training, participants will complete certificate level qualifications which can lead to ongoing employment.
