Sheriff’s officers are responsible for enforcing warrants and orders issued by all Victorian courts.
Enforcement activity includes the staging of regular, targeted operations such as roadblocks and blitzes.
Some of these operations include multi-agency participation involving VicRoads, Victoria Police and the Taxi Services Commission.
The focus of these operations is to detect fine defaulters and encourage them to clear their outstanding infringement warrants. The operations are conducted throughout the State.
